I am delighted for the opportunity to introduce myself to you and give a brief description about my background. My name is Ahmed Zarrough. I was born and raised in Tripoli, Libya to a big loving family. In 2004, I graduated dental school at Tripoli University, Faculty of Dentistry in Tripoli, Libya. I then worked as a restorative dentist in the private sector and as a clinical instructor at Zawia University, Zawia, Libya.
I moved to the United States in 2008, and earned my Doctor of Science (DSc) in Oral Biology from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2013.
In 2014, I completed my AEGD residency program at Boston University as well.
I then joined the University of Missouri-Kansas City, School of Dentistry (UMKC, SOD) as a full-time faculty member and a part-time restorative dentist. I earned my American DDS degree from the same university in 2019 after successfully completing their DDS program for the international dentist.
In 2021, I moved to St. Louis, MO to join A.T. Still University Missouri School of Dentistry and Oral Health (ATSU MOSDOH) as a full-time Comprehensive Care Unit (CCU) director and a part-time restorative dentist with La Cross Dental across the Mississippi river in Illinois.
I enjoy all aspects of restorative dentistry with a special focus on aesthetic and digital dentistry.
In my spare time, I like playing soccer, hiking, skiing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
I am beyond excited to have relocated to the beautiful Colorado Springs city and to have joined The Downtown Dentist team. I am eagerly looking forward to serving your dental and oral healthcare needs and contributing to your overall wellbeing one smile at a time.
